Chilworth Handmade
Traditional firing over a wood fire: In following tradition, we offer you a tile to create your own authentic style. After grinding and extruding the clay, the tiles are dried with wood bark and then fired with sawdust.
A distressed surface and tail: An irregular effect to reinforce the aesthetic appearance of tiles eroded over time with a variable granular deposit on the surface.
Variable tile length: Each tile has a slightly different length to reflect the irregularly of old roofs. Our unique cutting system enables 50% of tiles to vary in length by 1cm.
