Edilians “The Berkshire Mix” A Distinctive Roof Tile Blend

27th March 2025

Roofing Distribution UK is delighted to supply The Berkshire Mix, a plain clay tile for this exclusive development in the village of Whitfield, which forms part of the urban area of the town of Dover.

The RDUK team were involved in every stage of this development, from planning and material selection, to providing an estimate on the roof materials required, as well as a fixing specification for installation, and supply of materials on site.

The Berkshire Mix from Edilians combines five Phalempin tiles; Val de Seine, Amber, Rustic Red, Volcano and Weathered, as an even split, to create this eye-catching design which enhances the roofs overall appearance. Over 40k clay plain tiles were required for the project along with all associated fixtures and fittings including ridges, valleys and bonnets. On this development, the fittings were also a mixture of the five colours which creates a different look and feel to the buildings.

Aardvark Estates Limited based in Folkestone, were the main contractor for this impressive build project of 4 large detached luxury homes. Crest Building Products supplied the Old Saxon Blend a popular clay-facing brick with traditional blends of warm red-brown bricks with black, buff and white shades, a perfect match that complemented the tile blends on the textured roof surface.
