Swisspearl prides itself on manufacturing fibre cement slates which achieve the highest approvals from local, national and international agencies in the fields of product quality and sustainability. The Swisspearl range of Swisspearl Jutland, Westerland and Moorland slates carry the CE mark and are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the European Norm EN 492. They have achieved Class B, the highest class, for structural stability in accordance with EN 492.
The slates are manufactured using Portland cement together with a non-asbestos formulation of superior blended synthetic and cellulose fibres. The slates are pigmented during production and are fully compressed. They are finished with a high quality, semi-matt acrylic coloured coating to the top face and edges and a tinted or transparent, high-performance binder to the back face. Swisspearl slates are complemented by a wide range of fibre cement accessories.
Swisspearl slates are manufactured in accordance with a quality assurance system to ISO 9001. Furthermore, our production unit complies with the requirements of ISO 14001. Swisspearl slates are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001.

It signifies that a product has passed rigorous assessments, including laboratory testing, on-site evaluation, and quality management checks.
